Well, email seems to have stopped working. The server box is extremely slow, and needs to be formatted and wiped clean. It really needs a new hard drive, because the one it has is actually 5 years old, and runs extremely slow. What I need to do is get a new hard drive first. When that happens, I will reinstall windows 2000 advanced server on that hard drive. I'll then reinstall Microsoft Exchange 2000 and try my luck at getting that working again, because perhaps that will allow me to send mail, which the current IMail 6.0 Server seems to screw up a lot. I can receive mail, but I can't send it. It's stopped talking to my DNS server, which is the problem, because it needs to talk to it in order to find out the MX records for various places I wish to send mail. If I can't get Exchange 2000 to work, which I couldn't before, I'll switch back to IMail 6.0 which should work after I reformat and install everything. TODAY! I am going to send
out an old 9 gig quantum drive to be replaced with 95 dollars from quantum, because the drive was defective. I'll then get the money, and buy a new hard drive. When it comes, I'll go through the procedures I listed.
