Somewhere along the way the view old news post script stopped working, because the news archive viewer script (the one at the bottom of this page) would put quote ("") around each news item, which shouldn't happen ... so the server was looking for ::pathtoserver::
ews"::news::.txt" and of course, there shouldn't be quotes there.
All fixed.

Well, the server isn't necessarily reformatted now, but it will be ... at least the microsoft JET engine is working again and I can keep the normal site up until I can reformat.

What kind of pathetic display of fireworks was that? Up at LCC. It was like one shot every 10 seconds. The grand finale lasted 20 seconds. 2 10 second bursts of maybe if lucky 20 individual fireworks total. I laughed when it was all over. This lady just stared at me ...
