I just set up Jo's

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

I just set up Jo's site to use my SporkScript.NET so now she can post from GSA. That's pretty cool and exciting. We'll just have to wait until she reads this post of mine here, and then goes to her site and logs in (and I'm not going to tell her how or where or what to login with, because she should be able to figure it out).

I must go, ttyl.

Well, I haven't updated in

Well, I haven't updated in a long time. The SporkOPian theory must not really work, where I don't have to do a damn thing and everyone else updates my site for me. We still haven't had any Diya posts, so I'm just going to tell everyone at school next year about it, forget using thespork as a medium for mass communication amongst students, turns out my site isn't actually popular. (So why do I still update it?)

First things first, I have had amazing amounts of business opportunities for Correct Design. There's a gentleman who offered to possibly work something out where every now and then he throws a customer my way when they ask if HIS company will do design. Then another gentleman in best buy somehow out of nowhere asked if I did websites, and we got to talking and he wanted me to do some migration and integration of already set up shopping carts and basically merging two sites onto a main site that communicated with the others. Finally, NHS has wanted me to build them a site. Unfortunately, Grant is out of town and knows none of this.

Next, I haven't had much time to actually DO much development because I've been lazy, but now it seems I'm going to kick it back into the full pace I was doing, just because of all the future work I've got set up. So expect the next script to be some XML based picture viewing, and SporkOPs will get their upload features finally, that I've promised for a year.

On to other things, Joanna's website will soon be put over to my SporkScript.NET so that she can update from GSA.

FInally, I had a long conversation with my older brother Joe about colleges and stuff, and I've been rethinking a lot of what I want to do. I got a 1310 on my SAT's, not awesome but not terrible, either. A good average score I guess. I'm going to go to a good school for me, not a good name, necessarily, unless it's one that's a good school for me.

Some of you know Diya, our little brown sister at school. Well, due to the extreme popularity of her writings into all of our yearbooks, we've decided to collect those writings. How are we going to go about that?

CLICK - > TheSpork.NET/Diya

We've already got some of them up. Did you read or hear about somebody else's that was really funny? Then please contact them and get THEM to post their stuff. We want to get all of them here.

Hmmmm, you think nothing's happening on the site so you giv eup checking, and you come back and you have to go to a different site to post...

In XBOX news, John has yet to choose the date for HaloFest2! And good news for your pocket books! In spetember there is atlesat one XBOX game coming out almost EVERY DAY.

And now it's time for "The Chef's Movie Reviews" cuz the XBOX news is slow. (Schade.)
First off: "Undercover Brother"
FUN METER: 5UP (of 5)
INTELECTUAL METER: 3UP
This movie is comic genius, assuming you get a kick out of racial humor. But if jokes like "Black people find maionaise disgusting and can make up for it by squirting on hot sauce" don't make much sense to you, don't see it. 3 intellectual stars?! Yeah, someone with talent wrote this script, it's not slapped together dirty jokes. But Chris Catan as the enemy "Mr. Feather," you'd think people wouldn't cast him after his last masterpeice "Corky Romano." I mean he has funny lines, but HE's not funny.

"Sum of All Fears"
FUN: 3UP
INTELECT: 5UP
Just a good frickin' movie. It's worth seein at least once, but since it is a bit low on action, i doubt i will go to see it again. Very dramatic and the nuclear bomb explosion is very impressive.

Ok, those are the reviews. I might have been generous on the 1UPs there, but it was my first time writing reviews. Why two scales? Well, movies like "Cast Away" were good and would get props on the dramaticness of it, but as far is being "fun," it would score low. "Pootie Tang" however, was hilarious and would get lots on the fun scale, but probably a negative on the Intellect scale.

Hello to all who don't know me (everyone except John and Little Chris Basik). Spork was dumb enough to give me
posting rights, and I tend to abuse rights I've been given.
So I must respond publically to Basik and his coughing spell above, which mentions me by name.

Basik- 1st off let it be said that your site, while maybe popular with all the people in your little 'clique' of
"web designers", generally does suck in the eyes of most of us real people.
Why do I say that? Well...let's break it down-
1. The text is so small even those with excellent eyesite and a 19" monitor set to 300x200 have to squint to read it.
2. The screen is only 25% utilized. That tells me you can't come up with anything useful to fill the other 75%.
3. The spelling thing has to go...I need a translator to read it..after I magnify it for them. I always thought Manual
was a better school than that.

OK now that Ive hammered you...I guess I could complement as well. Any good review looks at both sides.
1. The colors, while Pyles-ian in nature, are OK on the eyes...which is nice since after squinting to read your
last news update, I couldn't take bad colors.
2. I dig the pictures...not the 3D Studio max ones..the 'fotohs' as you call them.

OK so there you have it. You asked for it..you got it. Now of course I couldn't do any better, but thats
what you get for mentioning balls and me in the same post.

Wait until Tuesday- when I stop every little dinky shot you throw at me playing hockey.
-Ellis- the Best Buy resident Printer Aisle Guy and not a web designer
(now if I only knew enough HTML to make this whole post rilly small 2 B kuhl lik Basik)

my website is so fucking awsome, all of u (cept the people that said it rocked) can go suck donkey balls ...

*cough* ellis and john *cough*

Well, I think I can

Well, I think I can post... but just making sure...

I might have time to do my site! wow! so be expecting an update before summer is over. ;)

But for right now... it still sucks.

This post is for a couple of reasons. One, I wanted to show that SporkOPs can change the caps and spacing on their posts if they want.

Two, I wanted to point out that I added all the TheSpork.NET news into the shared database, so you can go back into the archive and look at all the old posts where it shows "Spork posting as TheSpork.NET" and that's the news updates on my progress there.

Three, I finished writing the Edit News script. So SporkOPs, go back and fix all your old spelling mistakes! OK, maybe not, but now you don't need me to do it for you.

Spork.
