Cotton candy, sweet and low, let me see that tootsie roll

Alright. Sam Rosengren and I

Alright. Sam Rosengren and I are doing a modified version of the sweets bet. It is sweets plus fried potato and pop/soda. We'll see how this goes, I also am going to hopefully start exercising again. I really think I could pull it off if I slept more (have more engergy). But that means doing my work earlier.

In essence, I have already made plans for one of those always doomed to fail lifestyle changes. Here's to nothing.

It's been a while since

It's been a while since I've seen it, but why were they called the breakfast club if all they were doing was serving detention?

Today I overslept ... damnit.

Today I overslept ... damnit. I remember the alarm going off, and usually when this happens I have to fling myself down my loft bed's ladder and across the floor to the clock. well, I did this and I remember now, in hindsight, that I think I hit the round off button instead of the rectangular snooze button.

This wouldn't be so bad, because I only missed one class, except I already skipped this class yesterday. So that's three for the total year now. I need to step it up, I seem to be having a hard time making it to this morning class.

Hehe, I woke up today

Hehe, I woke up today at 6PM. Yes, 6 PM. Of course, I went to bed at 9AM. We had a 24 hour philanthropy that went from 9am to 9am. It was a pretty big success, but I am sooo tired. I actually just woke up from another nap just in time to catch the end of the 50 worst awesomely bad songs ever. It was great. Starship's "We Built this City" was number one.

And wow, just after it was over, Britney's Prerogative video, of which I'd never seen, came on. All I have to say is what the hell.

So Rodney King walks into a club ...

This morning I woke up

This morning I woke up for classes, walked over to my SCREAMING alarm, shut it off, and went back to bed. I have just now woken up, it's actually 11:25 here in the CDT time zone, and I'm feeling much more refreshed, and ready to start my day. I have my second radio show today. I know I'll fuck it up, but listen anyway. See the links two posts down. Other than that, word to your mother.

Wow, this text box is

Wow, this text box is REALLY REALLY small in FireFox. I would fix that, but I am lazy. Let's work on me updating more and then we'll see about redoing this site.

Actually, my plan is just to wait for thespork.com to expire and then I'm getting this shit off of my louisville server and onto some good old linux 1and1.com hosting. After all, it is free.

Things are going ok for me. They're not bad, nor mediocre, but above average. And while I'm not complaining, I would like to see things step up to excellent. I want to make the most out of this year. And right now I'm not doing anything to step that up.

There is some moderate dissension right now that could use dealing with, too. It sort of scares me, and while I'm not usually one to speak in cryptic abstracts like this, I just hope a positive future will be revealed soon.

And that's my Kyle like post for the day. Man, I actually really miss Kyle. He was a great kid. I really really enjoyed him whenever we weren't being roommates and just friends. I should call him up. Too bad I think he hates me.

Alright, let's hear some college stories. Somebody post if you're alive. Even a shout out would be apprecated as motivation to start posting again.

John.

So, long time no ...

So, long time no ... update.

But I bring good news. I am now the official WNUR Rock DJ for the Wednesday 4-6:30 time slot. So everybody in the Chicago area tune your radio sets to 89.3 for some good old WNUR FM Evanston Chicago.

Those out of town, hop over to wnur.org to listen from either a Real Audio stream or a Windows Media stream.

Every wednesday 4-6:30! w00t.

John.
