I'm in Valparaiso, Indiana. Valparaiso, Indiana blows. Yet another reason to hate the hoosiers.

It is my new goal to have a building named after me before I die. Y'know, one of those "dead rich white guy" donations like "McCormick" or "Hancock."

The name? "Hanauer Tower"

So I was going to

So I was going to do an update once the details of changing my major were complete, but it's been dragging on and probably won't be official till at least Friday.

Either way, I am changing my major from Computer Engineering to Electrical Engineering. At Northwestern, the two majors are not extremely different. In fact, at the moment I have not taken a class that is specific to one over the other, which is why it is a great time to switch.

I was looking over the computer engineering "specializations" (like a "track") and the options were:
1) Computer Performance (lame)
2) VLSI Design (decent)
3) Embedded Systems (I'd probably do this and VLSI)
4) Software (absolutely fucking no way ... I don't care how good I am at programming)

Then I looked at the EE specializations:
1) Circuits and Electronics (the only reason I was computer engineering)
2) Solid State Engineering (fuck no, I hate chemistry and all derivations of it)
3) Electromagnetics and Photonics (kinda cool)
4) Systems (awesome)
a) Digital Signal Processing (I like this stuff)
b) Communications Systems (definitely cool)
c) Control (This fascinates me a lot)

So basically, 1, 4a, 4b, and 4c are all specializations I would want from EE, while in the CE department I would probably just do track 3. In other words, in CE I could decide on one specialization and would scrounge for a second, and in the EE department there are at least four that I would love to do but unfortunately could only really pull of two of them, realistically.

Anyway, I've filled out half of the necessary form (my CE advisor has signed it) and now I just have to get my new EE advisor to sign it and then turn it in.

Yeah, so, good times.

It is not normally my

It is not normally my style to respond to being "called out" since I find myself to be above such childish games, but you happened to catch me in a bad mood.

Why would I bash Spork as a secondary agenda to my Maddox support commentary? I would find it much more creative (even more so then your pathetic reference to a ridiculously low quality beer that no one of any quality above legal drinking age consumes, or even mentions out loud) to take my Spork bashing to a more publically visible area of his website. Such as maybe the front page, where Spork, his friends, and everyone all the way to his mother can clearly see the pwnage I could unleash upon him without having to dig through the comments section of his website.

But I will refrain from doing so. I see no need to unleash the beast within on the poor downtrodden soul who in kindness allowed some respectless individual to come onto HIS website, only to be thanked in a tirade of CRAP.

You have hurt my eyes, wasted an infintely small portion of my bandwidth, and an even lesser portion of my overwhelming brain power. Most of all you have wasted my valuable time.

Spork- you rule. You are not a douche.
And I can say that while still believing that Maddox rules.

So to my new friend Bobby T, I am clearly against you. Clown.

Ghetto Toothpick (Sporky): just when I find another cute girl ... I find out she's on the ski and snowboard team
Ghetto Toothpick: what a bitch
The Jackal 57: yeah you should be all, "go play in the snow, you whore"
Ghetto Toothpick: huh
