Yeah, so as you should know, I'm very lazy ... you can look at the new august pictures, but they won't excite you cause they're from this party that has no relevance what so ever to the visitors of my site. I'll make some content someday.

@home survival dim - go read it! this could be good or bad news for thespork.com, I haven't decided ... on the one hand Insight might take over my internet ENTIRELY, and they already fugg it up enough as it is. Secondly, what would happen to the @home mail servers and stuff, and their whole network? as much as selling the company off to cable companies and isp's and all is cool sounding, it's not. Someone would have to manage the internet. My email might change from @home to @insightcomm.com (cause I dont think they own insight.com) and that would suck. Right now, the only good I can think of coming from all this is that possibly I might get to take my email server back up cause Insight probalby doesn't have a TOS department ...
Wow, I'm impressed. I make a poll last night and I don't vote till around the time of this update and there's already 4 votes before me! I guess people do still come here. Yeah, so new pictures at the left of the first two days of school. I'll shrink them and add descriptions very soon. I also can't seem to find any problems with the new script, so I think I'm going to switch it over very soon. First I'll start by adding entries for all the pictures with entries into the database, and then I'll move it over.
Good news, after my IP address change I lost boofungal.com and fiend-oc.com simply because both forgot their passwords to their domain ip changing sites. But now I have another hosted site to replace both (which in my opinion weren't that great anyway) with a much better site anyway. Joanna's site (http://jo.thespork.com) is now hosted by thespork.com. It has always had the address jo.thespork.com but it was always being hosted on jo's computer. But she got fed up with her server always going down and the like, so now she's bing hosted here. Check out her site.

Well, let's see. I've made some changes to the picture interface at the left. Now, you can browse without losing the current image that you're looking at. In order to return to the new, hit the "close picture" button at the top right corner of the picture. Right now the pictures have lost their border because of this, and I know that's really ugly. <tech talk>But I'm working on a way to fix this, entailing opening the binary data of the image and reading the actual dimensions of the pictures and then closing that connection and making the table exactly that wide/long. It's really neat.</tech talk>
Now, I'm not going to impliment this fix to the outline in the current picture interface. I'm working on a whole brand new one, with half the code and twice the efficiency, plus a ton more features. I've been working on it for the past couple of days, and it's exactly as I said it would be in one of my previous posts. It's going to store information of pictures in a database (which I have already implimented) and now I'll be able to add directory comments as well, not just picture comments. Then you'll be able to search the database for say pictures of yourself, or pictures you took, or any pictures on such and such a date (this I have not yet implimented).
So go take a look, it's up at /betapics.asp. I only have comments for the root directory and the flembo directory right now, and no picture comments as of yet. But the main thing I want people to take a look at is what happens when you hold your mouse of the Flembo directory, which has a comment. It's really awesome. So go take a look.

Yeah, so there's this virus going around called Code Red. Many of you wanna know if you're affected, because it's been all over the news. Well, no you're not. Wanna know why? Because it only affects webservers! And for those technologically impaired like Lizzie, then think "it only affects webpages". Anyway, NavSEAL is at camp, so I know he can't update his webserver, so I'm kinda hoping he'll get infected.
Oh, you wanna know about my webpage? Well, I'm vulnerable, yes. I'm running Win2k and the like. But I haven't patched yet either ... if I feel like it, I'll do it tomorrow ... but to tell you truthfully, I kinda wanna get infected ... I've never been one of the lucky ones to get Melissa, or code red, or any of the like. I didn't even get the DoS attacks either.
So yeah, if this webpage suddenly turns into the following:
Welcome to http://www.worm.com !
Hacked By Chinese!
Then email me! I wanna get a screen shot ... in case something happens, then get me a screen shot too, in case I can't get one.
Thanks everyone,
Spork.
