I just got "The Killing Fields" because my dad is making me watch it before we go to Vietnam -- "not to scare me," he insists :) Anyway, I ordered it from Netflix, so I'll have the movie for a while, and I was thinking we should all get together and watch it sometime. We actually, funny story ... I think I should be declared legally retarded or something. BECAUSE, last night, around 1:00, I wrote this entry about how I'd just watched Donnie Darko and it was really good and how I needed to go to bed cause I was headed to St. Louis in the morning (This morning). WEll, we got up at six, and we were about to leave when I went to check the weather in St. Louis and also peaked at the WashU tour schedule. WELL the book they sent lied, there were NO TOURS today the saturday tours started NEXT week according to their schedule. The book didnt' mention anything like that, it just said "Saturday tours!" So we went back to bed. That's now twice I've been wrong about tour schedules. SOOO, my mom wanted to go to St. Louis this tuesday and miss a day, but I'm not sure if I want to go mid-week or not.

We should definitely get together and watch that, I'm sure Joanna will see this and I'll let her pass it on to Ashley and one of you ladies can pass it on to Matt Schauer! ::wink, wink::

Hey it's a good thing you decided to check the tour schedule. That would have really sucked to drive all the way to St. Louis for nothing. I bought some infrared yesterday too! I think I'll shoot it today if it gets a little sunnier. I was going to load it into my camera and I came so close to opening the film canister in the light! Luckily, at the last minute as I was about to pop the plastic top off, I was like WHAT AM I DOING?!?!

With my infrared film, I bought it in the fall and it's now spring, and it's been sitting in a desk drawer here in my computer room for half a year practically. This room can get really hot, even in the winter, just because of all the electronics that we leave on. I guess that's why I shot the roll so fast, was because I was just anxious to get rid of it seeing as I didn't know if it'd even develop.

I'm going to write my letter now (hey look, it was 1:38 when you wrote that, and it's 9:57 when I'm writing this ... what a procrastinator I am!)

Maybe I can push it to 400 when I develop it tomorrow...? Oh yeah, and my brilliant plan to get the letter to the reviewer finished at a reasonable hour didn't go over too well. I just have no motivation unless it's really late at night and I know I have to finish so I can sleep. So, here I am at 12:26 and I just finished...and the words don't quite fill the second page to the end. Ehh, who needs stupid portfolios anyway :)

What's Plus-X 125? Any good? I've been doing either UltraMax (Ilford's version of Kodak T-Max, 3 dollars, same price, 400 ISO) or Kodax's T-Max 100, also 3 bucks. I dont' see why Curtis sells us Ultrafine if the other good stuff is all 3 bucks (T-Max 100, T-Max 400, UltraMax, and Ultrafine are all 3 bucks). I guess it's because the Ultrafine he makes like twenty cents a roll, the other stuff he makes ZERO. heh.

I'm going to be soooo tired tomorrow.
