Tonight we had a little Halo CTF war at Sporky's house.
Spork, little bro Jim, my roommate Dave and myself mopped up 4 guys (whose names I can't already remember- sorry fellas I'm really bad with names. Spork help me out here). They fought admirably, but in the end succumbed to our relentless assaults and team play.
I have to admit though, that we were a little deflated after losing the flag for the first point. Our team pulled together and pulled off 3 straight captures for a big 3 to 1 win.
I can't imagine losing to any team that has guys named "Cock" and "Y do I Suck" anyways.
Good time guys...thanks Spork for hosting. Maybe we can do it again sometime you decide to visit the lowly boring 'ville.

rest of the night:
three on three assault (one flag, you have to take the flag into THEIR base in under three minutes, but if you have the flag then you can keep it till you drop ... so basically, one team is always offense/assaulting the other is defending and you switch every 3 to 3+ minutes)

i hid with the flag behind the enemy teleporter in sidewinder ... while philip and ydoisuck continually ran out of the base and purposely died (they'd pretend to fire, but not at the other team) eventually, it began with just one enemy in our base, then two, then the third (jimmy) hops out of the teleporter right in front of my eyes, I'm still behind him with the flag, and he just runs right out of the room without turning around ... so now all three enemies are in our base THINKING they're mowing us down (which they are) and I just walk leisurely into their completely unguarded base and score (had philip or crazy john killed any of them they'd have spawned back to their base and would have found me there trying to plant our flag) we won that 3 to 1
there were a ton of games, and it just all completely rawked. end of story
Damn Spork...go easy on them. It was 3 to 1, and we did kick their ass, but give them some credit...they did score first.
BTW...Excellent move in the assault game. That's why CTF is so fun- Strategy is incredibly important.
Next time we play CTF on Sidewinder- great map. Wait until you see some of the new MP maps on Halo PC! Damn son...great stuff (and BANSHEES!!).
