I was gonna write all this shit about how the idea of school sucks, but decided it wasn't sounding right. Hehe. So I'll just say that I didn't write my essay last night, I went to bed at 2:00 and woke up early and worked on it till my first class, which I went to leave for, but the girl i always walk with wasn't going, so I went back to bed, instead of class OR working on my essay .... wake up when the class i missed was over, and I get up and work on the essay (cause I didn't have class) and then leave for my second class of the day at noon, come back, finish the paper, finish my team's project presentation, went to JK Sweets to order 200 cookies for my dorm munchies tonight, and then made it to EDC where I turned in my paper and gave a kickass presentation. It was actually a really good day, and I felt productive. And it's not even over yet!
Umm, yeah, so ... i decided not to eat today, until dinner ... I muslim fasted in essence (sun up to sun down). although, I did go to Jamba Juice and take a shot of wheatgrass. Wow that was interesting. One chases it with orange, afterwards. One shot is an ounce, so I bought a double, and then she refilled it cause she made too much so i actually had an effetive 3 shots or 3 oz of wheatgrass. Supposedly this stuff seriously cleanses the system, and jazz.
A week from today is SushiFest II ... this time we're actually gonna see how much we can really eat. We're gonna get our fucking 16.95's worth this time. I will be bed-ridden all week with how much raw fish I intend to inhale. That or I'll be rolled down the sidewalk like a barrel I'll be so huge.
Eh, that's it ... I think I had more but I forgot most of it.
Spork.
PS - M83 anyone? My brother really likes this album ... I like it too, I just haven't listened to it enough. But man, that Avalanches album hit me immediately as good.

on your recommendation i downloaded M83 from you.
I tried listening to it while I did my homework, but even though its sorta backgroundishlike music, i found myself only listening to it and not doing any homework. i was quite impressed. My roomate introduced me to Launch on yahoo today and I actually searched for M83 thinking, "bah, they wont have it and that will completely prove my point that I am far too 1337 for such lowly services as streaming public web radio" but alas, they had the CD, so that was kinda impressive too. i haven't pulled out my headphones yet to evaluate the quality or anything, but the service looks pretty sweet. so yea, that was a random tangent, but M83 is cool.
See, my problem with M83 is every time I put it in I've been doing something else as i listen, so I haven't been able to concentrate on it ... I need just a "sit down and listen" session with it, cause Joe is raving that this is the greatest album ever .. obviously he's overhyping a little, but still
Here I go, round 4 on this album I think. This time with the volume UP.
alright, seriously ... I like this album now, a lot ... I just needed to give it a real listen ... I also realized that my problem with listening to new music is I don't have a car no more! there's no more long drives to the boonies to pick up little brothers from lacrosse practice and taking the long route, or sitting in the parking lot for an extra hour cause coach peabody was a dumbass ... none of that! No arriving at manual at 7:00, 40 minutes early, and just laying in my car for 35 minutes chilling to new music. I miss all that ... the car wasn't just freedom to get around ... it was music. I'm done with motivational speaking now

yea, well, at least you're allowed to listen to music. in theory, i'm completely cut off.
haha, true story ... man that must suck, even if you do smuggle it
I do like the m83 album, although i don't think i love it as much as the rest of you yet. i'm just kind of "eh" about it, but that's the way i am with a lot of my favorite cds. guess i have to give it a good listen. but i must say that the avalanches song you gave me rocked my socks off and i'm downloading the cd right now. excellent find, devin.
