Because of my lack of any networking knowledge, I just spent the past 3 hours setting up a wireless router so that my mom can use a laptop she got from work. InsightBB wanted me to register the router to have it work. But I need to get to the internet for that, which didn't work because the router wasn't registered. Just got done... had to tell somebody, random post so a random comment.
Hmm, two things ... if your computers correctly connect to the router, than any of those computers you just have them open IE and it'll forward through the router to the Insight new device registration page. That's at least how mine worked.
But second of all what I did was in my router's settings I had it clone it's own MAC address to that of my server so I wouldn't have to register to the router in the first place. Registering new network devices win Insight changes your IP address and this would mess up TheSpork.com for a day or two while I had to change that address.
