Application Specific Integrated Circuits and Field Programmable Gate Array Design

I think I failed my midterm in ASIC and FPGA Design today. That isn't very good. The biggest problem for me was that all of the professors lectures were far too theoretical and conceptual to be applied to the homework assignments. Everything in the homework was practical and real world. In most classes this is not a problem, you just tough it up, accept that you have a bad professor who doesn't teach you anything to help with your homework, and you teach it to yourself. So this is what I did. Come time for the midterm, she tells us that she will not be testing on any of the practical aspects of the material because that is what our homeworks are for, instead she will be testing us on the concepts and theory covered in lecture. The stuff that flew over all our heads. So yeah, midterm bent me over and did me sideways.
