I know I had a

I know I had a good deal to update about, I'm going to try to remember.

Wednesday I ran and lifted, which was exciting, but that's about all I can think of for the moment that was big that day. My Dad got eye surgery that morning in which they cut into his eyelids and repositioned some of his muscles there to help fix his vision. Pretty nasty, I'm glad he's ok, but it's taking a while for his eyes to readjust to the adjustment, or something.

Thursday was cool because I went to the art show that opened. Noah, John Ott, Braylyn, Amanda Conn, some guy named Steve, and Charlie. I would seriously pay good money to purchase any of Charlie's self-portrait pieces. They're straight black background with the subject standing in the shadow. If you have not seen them, GO LOOK AT THE SHOW! It's incredible. This is probably the best show this year simply because they had so many good artists in one night with work that all went together somehow.

Yesterday, I get to English and Ms Collesano passes out runts to mark off groups (She had an equal number of bananas, cherries/apples, blueberries, oranges, etc. When I asked if Devin and I could have an extra banana, she was like "Oh, I just gave them away! I'll go buy you some more." and I was like "No, no! don't bother!" to which she then said "Oh, but you were watching the clock last class!" and I'm like "huh?" --> "You wrote on your paper a note that said you were watching the clock every ten minutes to find out that only 2 minutes had passed." To which I tried defending myself but later Marjorie said I was just digging myself in a hole. I said something like "oh, it was just a slow class, that's all" and she said "it was boring" and I tried saying "oh no, no, not at all, it just went slow." ..... hehe, yeah.

Afterschool I saw her again and asked to make sure that she didn't take it personally and she said that I was too good of a student to worry about a comment like that. I'm thinking in my head (yeah right I'm a good student, I hate english). She also told me she then took it into account grading my paper and wrote comments like "bored." Ouch. hehe. But I already knew it was a bad paper.

In photography, I finished my accordion picture. You can look at Joanna's here here and here, I don't have pictures of mine yet. Good news on the photo front, Parke won one of only two National Scholastics art portfolios! Or maybe it was only two photography, I'm not sure.

After school, I hung around till about quarter after thee and then Dylan and I got subway. I pulled out this free six inch card and immediately without me having said a word the girl at the counter starts getting on the defensive saying "please dont' get mad at me but those only work at the store it was purchased from" and all this stuff. I felt really bad for her, and I told her to settle down, it was ok and not a big deal. She said she'd been yelled at twice already that day by customers. See, now this is why I hated working at best buy for many of the same reasons.

Then Dylan and I saw the Lava House with everyone else. This place is going to be the location of our photo show on March 28th! Everyone needs to come, there will be lots of good food and lots of good art, it starts at 7:00. Seriously, I want more people then a VA show to be there (dont' know if I can pull that off though). BUT COME EVERYONE.

Then we took Dylan home, and Joanna and I went to EAR-X-TACY. I bought The Music's CD, which I really like. I actually had never heard of them until I listened to them at a listenting station. Very good stuff, and then I found out they were the opening act for Coldplay. Crazy.

Then I went home, and ran and liftend weights, which I'm about to leave to do now. I missed Joanna's concert, which I feel bad about, but nobody would go with me. I then went to Grant's house to give him a hard drive of his and to watch the happy tree friends episodes which are up on the website. EVERY EPISODE IS UP FOR THE REST OF NEXT WEEK. Then Grant and I met Jon Hills at Starbucks and stayed there till 11:30. A fun time.

parke won 1 of the 2 only gold photography portfolios

bastard ;)

yeah, but we shouldn't get mad at him ... it's not his fault ;)

That subway rule is a wierd one. The one I got to on 3rd street accepts any of them. Now, whether that is becuase they are allowed to or they just dont care, I dont know.

Since you all go to Starbucks so often, what is the closest one to Southern Pkwy? I wish there was one close enough so that I could go just a little out of my way to get a Venti Carmal Machiatto with 3 shots of espresso (however the spelling goes). That's my favorite.

Genesis 1:28
God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground

no idea on either matter ...

the subway on third street is the one i go to, and frankly, i've found that nobody cares on third street. seriously, i used to work at that kfc, and nobody cares about anything. words to live by.

the closest starbucks to southern parkway is probably the one on bardstown road or downtown. the south end is not a good place for starbucks. can anyone back me up on that one? there could be one next door to me and i wouldn't know...

and i'm a frapp girl... any flavor will do.

Personally, I like tea. ;)

(BIG surprise there...)
