I think I need to clear some things up.
First, I am profiting off of the Crew Team sales. Some people may not have been aware of that, and they deserve to be informed. Most of the poeple I talked to today to let them know that I'd be profiting already knew, but I did find three so far of the fourty or so I talked to who had not realized. I made it an effort to talk to everyone, and offer the chance to cancel their order. So far there have been no cancelations, but if anyone knows someone who might have been uneasy over the whole thing but too afraid to ask me, please let them know that they can cancel their order at any time, even if they have signed or paid. I will refund all of the payments made to the date and take their name off immediately. I'll deal with reselling or returning the hoodie.
For those who feel they are entitled to know how much profit, while that isn't standard business or retail procedure, I'm not deceitful or a conceited punk or anything, so I'll gladly release my business's quarterly earnings reports. First, there are 84 items totalling to a revenue of 1699.69 dollars. The average profit per item is 4 dollars and 4 cents, contrary to popular belief that it is 6 dollars. I have been telling people the hoodies are marked up 5 dollars. While true, this is an inaccurate idea of my profit for a few reasons. First, the other items are not marked as high and only three quarters of the orders are for hoodies. Second, there are other expenses such as shipping and teacher sales that are not taken into account when calculating my price per item. Therefor, the average cost per item after expenses is 4.04. Those expenses total to 1360.33 (base price per item plus expenses). Therefore, my profit on the entire venture is 339.36.
To those who are uncomfortable about this please again I implore you to simply find me and ask for a refund (or if you haven't paid yet anyway, simply for a cancelation). You do not have to wear a hoodie if you feel that I have cheated you out of your money. I also gladly will answer any other questions anyone has about American retail and the common practices of free enterprise. Feel free to pass along all this information and if any are wondering what I'll do with the money I intend on buying the crew team a trophie (with an engraving of 1st place in some fake tournament) to put in the trophie case (assuming I can somehow sneak it in as legit); the rest will go towards gas for my car.
"Thanks" to those sticking with us and "sorry no hard feelings" to those who are not.
Spork.
